Friday night - arrive at Redcot House, settle in, refresh and stroll into Ramsgate for dinner at one of the town's many restaurants.
Saturday morning - after a relaxing breakfast, head back towards Ramsgate town, past the Great Wall of Ramsgate and take a look in the old Sailors Church or browse in some of the independent shops springing up around the harbour. If it's not too soon after breakfast, you can people watch outside a harbour cafe with a coffee. Carry on walking towards Pegwell Bay, along the west cliff and head into The Belle Vue for a pub lunch - recently voted Thanet's best Pub.
Saturday afternoon - take a short drive to Canterbury and explore this historic cathedral city. Take a boat tour on the river and enjoy some quality shopping. Have an early supper and head to the brand new Marlowe Theatre or head back to Ramsgate to see a film or local theatre group at The Granville.
Sunday - our homemade croissants or brioche will set you up for a walk to Broadstairs along the beach. Relax with a coffee in Morelli's famous ice-cream palour then if you're still feeling energentic, pick up a picnic lunch and follow the new signposted Dickens to Turner walk which will take you all the way to Margate.

Visit the amazing Turner Contemporary on the seafront, wander around the old town's independent shops then catch the bus or train back to Ramsgate (there are timetables in your room!).
Sunday evening - back in Ramsgate, head into town for a pre-dinner drink around the harbour then sample another of our many restaurants or the best fish and chips in town from Peter's Fish Factory.
